random update

it's been raining heavily this week in Jakarta, there's flood everywhere. offices closed and the road filled with brown water that look like milo. it's really sad to see. and i am really thankful that i don't have to deal with flood, but for those who does, please stay safe and strong! we all wish the flood will end soon *hugs*

and it's so crazy cold in the office because of the weather, that i actually wear layered clothes, scarf and even socks! and yes, i have a really crazy looking daily socks that i got from payless. and i have 6 of them hahahaha.. (who can resist discount stuff?)
cos of the bad weather i got a bad cold since this morning, (i easily catch a cold anyway  ಠ_ಠ ) and i finally asked my boss to go home early and rest. i drink some medicine and sleep right away. it was around 4.30 and i slept till 8.30 pm swt. but hey i feel a lot better already. yihah! :D

bf recently quit the gym. last week i went to buy a work out shorts with him, cos my previous one is already a little bit too big for me, and i have to pull it up every 5 mins during class. so i need a new one.

inside the store:

him : let's look for a sexy one~!

me : hahaa. are you sure?

him : haha. why not.. WAIT. I FORGOT I WONT BE WORKING OUT WITH YOU ANYMORE! NO NO NO. dont look for a sexy one!!

me : AHA! this one is cheap! (referring to the pic)

him : NO NO NO NO.. it's too shortt!!

me : but you told me to look for a sexy one.

him : no no, i take back what i said. don't look for a sexy one. how about u use the long tight pants u use before one? what is it called?

me : leggingss??

him : yes that one.

me : but it's tight, dont u think it'll look sexier?

him : oh yeah right...

p.s: i bought a normal one in the end, not too crazy short but not that long. later that day, i realized that it's actually men's wear =_=

so this is gonna be my last day being 24.
when i was younger (ehm, yes i am a little old now. happy?) i used to think that when i reach the age 25, i already become a mature working woman, wearing work attire : pencil skirt, boring shirt, and shitty heels, become a boring adult who talks about economy and politics, reading newspaper while sipping a cup of coffee in the morning. probably already married. with kids. probably.

guess what?
none of em happens. hahaha. except for the part that i become a mature working woman *ahem*.
but i am happy with my life and enjoying every minute of it. (well, not all of it, but you get the point lah.)
i am thankful for whatever i have right now. i have a great family, great friends, handsome level infinite boyfriend (hahaha), a great job, a pretty good health (except for the flu, i never had any other health problem so that's good ) and the list goes on and on.

hello december!

december has always been my favorite month of the year. always filled of joy and happiness :)
i hope this december brings a lot of joy to everybody reading this. (or not) and a lot of blessing.

so to start this beautiful month..

inappropriate

i am not a skinny girl, i have curves here and there. i think ever since puberty i've never been skinny. i used to be really2 skinny when i was a little kid, but then i have no idea how i got big so fast. lol. and one thing that keep bugging me is this one question that everybody love to ask every time they meet me.

" did you gain weight? "

you know, I REALLY HATE this kind of question. i always thought that this is a really inappropriate question to ask. and people may not realized this and thought "oh come on it's just a simple question, why are you making such a big deal out of it?", but let me tell you something.. for some people, it hurts their feeling. and i am a part of that-some-people. i tried my best not to ask this question whenever i meet my friends, or family.

yesterday during a party, one of my cousin ask me the exact question, the moment he saw me, trying to make a conversation, i supposed. and i was like " no lah. " and i left him, and then i saw his father look at him with this oh-no-dont-ask-that-question kind of look. if i did gain my weight, it's none of your business anyway. you're not my doctor, or my personal trainer. so fug off.
