random things he says

one of the things i like about my boyfriend is, because he's so random sometimes, and he would say random things.

exhibit 1:
last Thursday i accompanied him to work, it's supposed to be a public holiday here in Indonesia (i think it's Islamic new year) but boohoo, he had to work, and he asked me to join him and after that we're going to see Wreck It Ralph (which was an awesome movie, btw). On holiday like that he usually just dress casually to work, even using flip-flops. but not today! he told me on bbm that he wore office attires. and when he picked me up at home, i asked him
me : " why did you dress so nice today? isn't today a holiday?"
him: " i dont know, but i wanna feel handsome today. "
me : "... oh well you do look really good today "

exhibit 2:
we're going to a friend's wedding party a couple of week ago, this conv happened a couple of days before the party.
note: my boyfriend hates when i wear anything revealing. (he always complains whenever i wore a t shirt that's a lil bit lowcut)
me : " what should i wear? "
him : " well i don't know, but please don't wear kemben " (kemben = strapless dress)
me : " why not? " ( i was expecting answers like.. it's too revealing and everybody's gonna see your boobs, or something like that )
him : " well, cos you lost your weight so if you wear it, it might fall off.. "
me : *laughing*

inappropriate

i am not a skinny girl, i have curves here and there. i think ever since puberty i've never been skinny. i used to be really2 skinny when i was a little kid, but then i have no idea how i got big so fast. lol. and one thing that keep bugging me is this one question that everybody love to ask every time they meet me.

" did you gain weight? "

you know, I REALLY HATE this kind of question. i always thought that this is a really inappropriate question to ask. and people may not realized this and thought "oh come on it's just a simple question, why are you making such a big deal out of it?", but let me tell you something.. for some people, it hurts their feeling. and i am a part of that-some-people. i tried my best not to ask this question whenever i meet my friends, or family.

yesterday during a party, one of my cousin ask me the exact question, the moment he saw me, trying to make a conversation, i supposed. and i was like " no lah. " and i left him, and then i saw his father look at him with this oh-no-dont-ask-that-question kind of look. if i did gain my weight, it's none of your business anyway. you're not my doctor, or my personal trainer. so fug off.

me: lo cobain makan di seminyak deh
x : seminyak apa tuh?
me : resto italia, namanya ultimo
me : di daerah seminyak, Bali
x : makanannya barat2 gt ya?
me : .....
me : italian.

oh hello there

lately during spare time at work i've been "busy" blogwalking and forgot that i actually have my own blog.
soo.. today i am gonna fill in another rubbish post here. and maybe do some layout changes

i just randomly browse my old post and and oh my goodness i just embarrassed myself. =_="

so just a quick update on my life timeline.
life's been treating me pretty well, i still work for the same company since almost a year ago (this October remarks my 1 year working here. yay!), having my 4th anniversary with mr. boyfriend, watching L'Arc~en~Ciel LIVE!!! FRONT ROW!!! (oh-my-gosh i am so excited.), having a getaway to Bali earlier this August and last.. getting my hair dyed.

and since this post is really short, i am just gonna share some of my current favorite singer, enjoy!

this random conversation with bf happened during lunch today (via blackberry messenger)

and i told him that my fried tempe that i brought from home was bland. it needs more salt.

g: hah? kata siapa? kenapa?

w: nanti asinnnnn.
